Post by isleonian on Apr 10, 2021 16:54:27 GMT billhunt, it's a good tactic only if executed to near perfection which it most certainly wasn't today! With Knights' two devastating wingers on the field the box kick could be devastating if length and direction are pretty perfect, otherwise it's a dangerous handover! Very much agree with you there Isleonian it can be a great tactic, but when it isn’t working it is very frustrating.

Happy to share costs of travel Feb 17, 2019 19:52:21 GMT donnyknightsfan: after yesterday's showing a new attacking coach and structure is needed ASAP. our attack is really poor. why don't we ever look to create space?. you're not going to beat championship defences by just running straight at them. Apr 21, 2019 8:19:53 GMT thomasmachin: I would support any reasonable suggestion to support the Club Mar 26, 2020 20:03:51 GMT lock: Hi, I'm new to the Knights Forum.

Is it just scheduling or? Mar 10, 2018 10:24:11 GMT thomasmachin: It would appear that if we are to replace the departing players we had better be quick or all the available players will be signed by Ealing, Coventry and Cornish Pirates! Apr 20, 2018 8:14:16 GMT barbelhunter: What a great re signing that is.
Apr 27, 2018 10:38:07 GMT donnyknightsfan: that was absolutely dire today almost from start to finish apart from a spell in the 2nd half when we looked OK. players don't look motivated enough to me. they need a kick up the backside. the next two games v Bedford and Irish look a tough ask now. Oct 6, 2018 21:04:32 GMT thomasmachin: I don't think a Vera Brown tribute singer will sell the Forces Lunch as well as a Vera Lynn tribute singer!! Oct 22, 2018 10:24:33 GMT rodders: A bit random this one but are any Knights fans travelling to the Jersey game on Friday 1st March flying from East Midlands on the 10. 55 flight out. 2 of us are looking for a lift to East Midlands airport unexpectedly.
Our defence has been awesome so far, we stopped their maul from working the way it apparently did last week! It'll need to be as good if not better next week! Sounds a tad harsh for Mark Best there, banned for the rest of the season! He gave MoM to Chally and I'm not sure I could disagree, can't think of anywhere where Chal put a foot wrong today. That said not sure many of the forwards did today. Liked the impact the finishers had as well. 5 from 5... I'll take that any day of the week martinc Director of Rugby Posts: 1, 507 Post by martinc on Apr 10, 2021 16:06:46 GMT We could have done much more - but we tried our hardest to give away needless penalties - two over long kick attempts from penalties, by Billy, were disappointing and put us back under pressure.

Several familiar faces will be waiting to welcome the Reds to Yorkshire. Knights’ Head Coach Steve Boden, who spent four years with the Reds as a player and then in a coaching role, is among a sizeable former Jersey contingent at Castle Park, which also includes forwards Jerry Sexton and Conor Joyce, plus three-quarters Mark Best and James Newey.

Jersey Reds preview | Donny Knights (Unofficial) Fan ForumPost by Jamie Crawford on Apr 9, 2021 14:25:31 GMT Jersey Red’s preview & Team list. Jersey Reds will be looking to scupper their opponents’ unbeaten record when they run out at Castle Park in Doncaster this weekend. Doncaster Knights have won all four of their games thus far in the Greene King IPA Championship and are in contention for the end-of-season play-off final along with Ealing Trailfinders, Saracens and Cornish Pirates.
The Reds are nominally the home team for this game, but the venue has been switched – one of two fixture flips forced on the Island side as a result of Covid-19 restrictions. Director of Rugby Harvey Biljon, looking for a second win of the league season at the fourth attempt, introduces three new faces to the line-up which began the 20-25 win against Bedford Blues two weekends ago. Tight-head prop Adam Nicol, freshly signed from Glasgow Warriors, comes straight into the front row, while Sean O’Connor returns after injury into the second row. This means Macauley Cook shifts back to flanker, while Josh Bainbridge switches to the bench. The other change sees a debut for on-loan Bath scrum-half Max Green, who takes his place among an otherwise-unchanged back division.
Saturday’s match will be streamed live, with access costing £10 and available via the Championship website. An edition of the Reds’ popular and innovative (and free! ) online match programme will be available for all supporters on Friday afternoon.
